Herbal tea recipes for immunity

With cold season approaching, I wanted to share some of my favourite immune-boosting tea blends that I've perfected over the years:
Golden Shield Tea
- 1 tsp turmeric powder (or fresh grated)
- 1/2 tsp ginger (fresh is best)
- A pinch of black pepper (helps turmeric absorption)
- Honey and lemon to taste
Echinacea Defence Blend
- 1 tsp dried echinacea
- 1 tsp elderflower
- 1/2 tsp rosehip
- Steep for 10-15 minutes, strain, add honey
Thyme & Sage Throat Soother
- Fresh thyme sprigs and 2-3 sage leaves
- Steep 8 minutes in just-boiled water
- Add a teaspoon of raw honey once slightly cooled
